What is a Backlink?
A backlink is any link on another website that points to one of your pages. If a blog mentions your product and links to it, that link is a backlink. Search engines use backlinks as a signal that your content is worth showing: pages with more quality backlinks tend to rank higher.
MyBacklinkIndex lets you submit backlinks to Google, Bing, and Yandex for indexing, then tracks each one so you know whether search engines have picked it up.

Why backlinks matter
- Backlinks are one of the strongest ranking signals Google uses. A page with links from relevant, authoritative sites will almost always outrank a similar page without them.
- They send referral traffic. People click links, and some of those clicks end up on your site.
- They help search engines find your pages. When Googlebot crawls a page that links to you, it follows that link and discovers (or re-crawls) your content.
What the platform does
After you build a backlink, search engines need to find and index it before it starts counting. That can take days or weeks, and there is no easy way to check hundreds of links by hand. You submit your backlinks here, and the platform handles the rest: it sends them to search engines for indexing and regularly checks whether each link has been picked up. The status of every link is visible in your dashboard.
